A
1) Position flat with abdomen exposed
2) General inspection
3) Inspect hands and nails (clubbing)
4) Liver flap
5) Palpate radial artery and check RR
6) Close inspection abdomen
7) Superficial palpation
8) Deep palpation
9) Cough for rebound tenderness
10) Palpate liver, spleen, kidneys
11) Percuss for liver, spleen, bladder, ascites
12) Auscultate for bowel sounds, renal bruits
Optional: Hernias, DR exam, external genitalia
