Internals seek information so den’t rely on other’s opinions
More achievement oriented (spector found a relationship between internals and leadership- more goal orientated)
Can resist coercion from others (in a prisoners of war scenario internals were better at resisting)

A

Allen and Levine- thick glasses in ASCH experiment- less conformity- social support still has an effect. It is so strong that we just need a little bit of social support.
