A

All members have an equal chance of being selected.
1. Obtain list of members
2. Assign them each a number
3. Pick sample using a lottery method

  1. Researcher offers the opportunity to take part in their study in a location where target population would usually be found.

  1. Researcher identifies strata that make up target population
  2. Proportions of different individuals are worked out using formula:
    Sample size over population size X subgroup size
