Explain the scientific method?

A
  • make objective observations of the behaviour that they are interested in.
  • form a hypothesis (testable) on these observations.
  • work out the best method to evaluate the hypothesis.
  • report their methods and results so that others can re-interpret, repeat or extend their findings.
