The process by which members of a species produce offspring. It involves the fusion of two gametes (eg sperm and egg) during fertilisation.

Large, as it contains nucleus and contains food in the cytoplasm.
What is fertilisation (in mammals)?
When a haploid sperm meets a haploid egg to create a diploid zygote.

What do insect pollinated flowers do?
Insects visit the flowers and feed of the nectar. They brush against the anther and pick up pollen, then fly off and land on another plants stigma.
