Inform DTCS. TCS. DM at least 12 hours prior to start of shift

Right time

Fit for duty, uniform, free from drugs and alcohol, well rested.
What should drivers carry with them when reporting for duty?
Functional hand lamp Watch Driver keys Publications, WON and PON High viz vest Forms, RT3185 and NR3190 European driving licence, both parts Glasses, two pairs
What does the driver diagram contain information on?
Turn number STP or LTP Start and end times Important phone numbers Activities such as PNB, DOO etc Work content Stations stopping at Head codes PIS number
If you have a problem with the publications, what should you do?
Inform TCS. DTCM. DM
When Leaving duty what should you do before you leave?
Complete reports
Know your next turn
Safely store away your equipment

AP. Attach portion CS. Carrage shunt DP. Detach portion REL. You relieve driver RELD. You are relieved. Taxi. Taxi to depot. Pass. Travel as passenger in carrage DOO. Driver only operation JUPL. Join unit previously left. DISP. Dispose of unit (lower pantograph) LU. Leave unit MOB. Mobilise unit (set up cab, lights) PC. Prepare cab PDP. Disposed state preparation PNB. Physical need break PU. What are your responsibilities regarding prescription drugs when you go to the doctor?
Inform that you have a safety critical job
Inform train crew supervisor or driver manager of any drugs that you are taking as soon as possible.
What should you do if you are unable to attend for duty due to sickness or injury?
Inform DTCM or TCS as soon as possible. Give as much notice as possible
What should you do when you are returning to work?
Advise DTCM or TCS giving at least 12 hours notice if possible
