What information to get enroute to a job?
Location.
Time delay.
A description of suspect.
A description of suspects vehicle.
Suspects direction of travel.
Description of any weapons carried.
IF UNSURE, SAY 10-4!!!
Important K codes
K-1: No further action required, close job.
K-3: Reported as an offence, no offence disclosed, close job.
K-6: Written report will be made, close job.
K-9: Arrest been made, close job.
Important 10 codes.
10-1: Messages for all units.
10-2: Enroute to dispatched job.
10-3: Available for dispatch.
10-4: Comms repeat
10-7: Arrived at scene.
10-9: Urgent message follows.
10-10: Officer in danger.
Important things to notebook.
-Addresses
-Times (10-2, 10-7, K-9, BOR read, SASA, etc).
-Names ( LAST NAME First name).
-Details that stand out.
-CCTV if any.
-Exhibits, if photographed or not.
