Where does RCC tend to spread?
Renal vein then IVC

What paraneoplastic syndromes is RCC associated with?
Polythcythaemia - secretion of unregulated ePO
Hypercalcaemia - secretion of hormone mimicking PTH or bony mets
HTN
Stauffer’s syndrome - abnormal LFTs
What investigation should be done
CT TAP
What are surgical treatment options
Partial nephrectomy
Radical nephrectomy
What are non-surgical options?
- Arterial embolisation
- Percutaneous cryotherapy - liquid nitrogen to freeze and kill tumour cells
- Radiofrequency ablation
Chemo and radiotherapy
