For diarrhea due to heat or damp-heat in the YangMing organ with incompletely resolved exterior wind-heat condition. Releases exterior and drains heat.
NOT without fever or with deep slow pulse.

Major Bupleurum Decoction

Chai Hu, Da Huang; Huang Qin, Zhi Shi; Bai Shao, Ban Xia; Sheng Jiang, Da Zao.
For concurrent Shaoyang and YangMing organ stage disorder (GB and ST heat condition). Harmonizes and releases the Shaoyang, and drains internal heat clumping in the Yangming organ.
