What is a back brief?
A briefing by subordinates to the CDR to review how subordinates intend to accomplish their mission.
Combined Arms Rehersal
Subordinate units synchronize their plans with each other.
Support Rehersal
Helps synchronize each war-fighting function with the overall operation.
Supports operation so units can accomplish their mission.
Separated by war fighting function
Battle drill or SOP Rehersal
In house collective action. Example would be battle drills. Usually for PLT, squads, and sections.
What is a full dress Rehersal?
A method of Rehearsal. Includes every participating Soldier. Day time and night time. Consume the most time.
Key leader Rehearsal
A method of Rehearsal. Key leaders only. Often happens before a full dress Rehearsal
Terrain model Rehersal
A method of Rehearsal. Less time and fewer recourses than a full dress. Can present OPSEC risk
