What is the difference in RDSP and MDMP?
MDMP is done before the mission begins.
Rapid decision making and synchronization process (RDSP) - is done in the execution phase.
Especially important if it effects others.
Compare current situation to the order. Decide who and what level is needed for decision. Develop, refine, validate, and implement COA. FRAGO or OPORD.
Determine type of decision required
Recognize a variance in the mission
Describe variance, determine if it is a threat or opportunity
Determine if decision needs to be made
Using RDSP, what comes after identifying a variance and deciding it is a risk or opportunity?
Validate your course of action second and third order effects.
The enemy, friendly forces, command posts.
Do you just implement RDSP?
It usually requires a FRAGO
