Trust - through communicating, being available, predictable, and loyal.

Partnership building - a natural relationship. To overcome barriers maintain communication

Realistic Expectations and Self-Perception - it mentor & mentee capabilities. Important for mentor to provide honest feedback. Can also provide insight on social traits, talents, and roles.

Time - frequently check in. Don’t change times unless 100% required.
