RedTeam 6. Request Status Flashcards
What is included under REQUEST STATUS?
Projects (Workorders) that are in the estimating/preconstruction phase are in Request status.
While a Workorder is in Request status, you can:
- Manage team membership
- Enter Takeoff Cost Estimates
- Issue Request for Quotes
- Upload Vendor Quotes
- Upload Addendums
- Prepare Customer Proposal
What comes after REQUEST STATUS?
When you are ready, you can promote the Workorder to Proposal status to remove the watermark on the Customer Proposal. Once in Proposal status, you will no longer be able to make changes to the Proposal in the Contract tab. During the negotiation process, if the Customer wants you to make changes to the Proposal and re-submit, you can always demote back to Request status to make the changes. Every time you do this, RedTeam automatically captures a snapshot and saves it in the History.
What is PROPOSAL STATUS?
Projects (Workorders) are moved to Proposal status once you are ready to submit your proposal to the Customer. The Workorder remains in Proposal status until you are awarded the job, at which time you promote it to In Progress status, or you are not awarded the job, at which time you change it to Cancelled status (no estimating/preconstruction information entered will be lost).
What actions can you take while a Workorder is in PROPOSAL STATUS?
- Manage team membership
- Cancel Proposal
- Submit Customer Proposal. Once the Workorder is in Proposal status, the Draft watermark on the Customer Proposal is removed, and you can send a clean Proposal to your Customer for review. Clicking this option takes you directly to the Contract tab, where the Proposal is put together. Here you can put together your Schedule of Values and review the Proposal, which you can email right from the View. During the negotiation process, if the Customer wants you to make changes to the Proposal and re-submit, you can always demote back to Request status to make the changes. Every time you do this, RedTeam automatically captures a snapshot and saves it in the History.
What is the next step if the project is awarded by the customer?
If the project is awarded by the Customer, the next step is to move the Workorder to In Progress status.
What actions can you take in the IN PROGRESS STATUS?
Projects (Workorders) that are ongoing and in the building phase are in In Progress status. Once In Progress, all tabs are available for a Workorder. When the project is 100% complete, you can move the Workorder to Closed status In this phase, you can: 1. Manage team membership 2. Manage Budget 3. Upload Executed Contracts 4.
