God gave humans free will, therefore sin has to exist
Why did God give humans free will?
He wants us to actively choose him

Jesus’s Ressurection
How does Jesus’s death play a role in the restoration of the relationship between man and God?
Jesus showed total obedience to the Father
How does Jesus’s resurrection play a role in the restoration of the relationship between man and God?
- Jesus destroyed the power of sin and death
- He helped restore creation (made it perfect) - made life after death possible
How does Jesus’s ascension play a role in the restoration of the relationship between man and God?
- Jesus rose up to heaven
- He helped the ‘cosmic order’
What is salvation?
Freedom from sin - making heaven available to us
How was there salvation in the past?
Christ’s death and ressurection
How was there salvation in the present?
It is ongoing as sin exists, we can choose to accept or reject God
How will there be salvation in the future?
Salvation will be completed at the end of time
