is the blood outside the vessels? are the vessels enlarged? are there more vessels?
before treatment of red eye what do you need to rule out
corneal ulcer
glaucoma
dry eye
uveitis
FL, STT, tonometry
what is conjunctival hyperemia associated with
ulcerative or nonulcerative keratitis- KCS, IMK
you see episcleral injection, where are you localizing your issue to
intraocular- glaucoma likely
hyphema
introcular hemorrhage. blood will move, settle, etc
what is your ddx list when you see hyphema
retinal detachment, clotting disorder, hypertension, uveitis, neoplasia
where do you localize these clinical signs: conjunctivitis, chemosis, long branching vessels reaching to the cornea
keratoconjunctivits
differentials for keratoconjunctivitis
KCS-exposure, IMK, pannus, ulceration
STT, FL
deep hedge like vessels and branching vessels
keratitis. ulcerative or nonulcerative
episcleral injection, ciliary flush-deep hedge corneal vessels
intraocular disease, uveitis, glaucoma
tonometry
