2 groups of 12yo
22 from white middle class families, 2 parent families, did not no each other prior.
Randomly assigned to two groups
Transported to the camp called robbers cave.
Encouraged to bond by common goals, cooperative discussion, planning & execution.
Named eagles & rattlers.
Arranged for two groups to go head to head in very aggressive competition
Trophy was awarded at end & no consultation prize,
Began to do things to purposely annoy other group e.g. Ransack rooms etc.
They were being riled up by experimenters.
