A

Deep seated personality traits predisposed some individuals to be highly sensitive to tutalitarante and anti democratic and therefore more prone to being prejudice. It is suggested that punishing child rearing practices lead to a strict superego, an primitive ID and weak ego.
Their beliefs are very conventional, (black & white no grey)
Seen to be very superstitious and preoccupied with sex and voilence.

Case study on nazis af

A

1950.
Harper and row publishes a book which was a huge success in the psychological field.
The authorian personality was an attempt by a group of researchers to explain the condition that allowed naziism to gain foothold in Europe. Adorno and Horkheimer used various psychological scales to attempt to explain racism and the atmosphere that led to the death of 6 million Jews.
