What is it behaviourism
A psychological approach which emphasises scientific and objective methods of investigating.
“Behaviourism emphasises the role of environmental factors in influencing behaviour to the near exclusion of innate and inherited factors. This amounts essentially to a focus in learning.”

Began in 1913 by John Watson.
3 main factors of behaviourist theory->
1) association: associating something with a negitive stimili
2) reinforcement: of prejudiced attitudes and behaviour discriminatory.
3) imitation: of role models.
Relate behaviourism to Jane Elliot’s experiment-
It can be seen that if we are getting negative association from a stimuli & by social learning.
She let the kids experience how discrimination first hand.
