What investigations should be undertaken in reactive arthritis?
A
ESR, CRP - increased in acute phase
RF / ANA - to rule out RA
Stool / urogenital cultures - usually negative
Plain x-ray - may be sacroilitis
Arthrocentesis and synovial fluid analysis - used to rule out crystal arthropathies
