Describe the management of polymyalgia rheumatica?
A
Low dose steroid single daily dose for 2-4 weeks until symptoms resolve
Adjunct - vitamin D, calcium and bisphosphonates (given for bone protection alongside steroids)
2nd line - methotrexate
3rd line - tocilizumab
