random Flashcards
QRS duration greater than 120, no R wave in V1, wide tall R waves in I, V5 and V6 indicates what on ekg
LBBB
normal PR and QRS interval
PR 120 to 200msec
QRS less than 120msec
ekg should pr interval greater than 200msec and p waves but no QRS suspect this is
atrioventricular block
Person with S3 sounds you would suspect what diagnosis
mitral valve disease, dialted cardiomyopathy, normal in young
person with s4 sounds you would suspect what diagnosis
hypertension, aortic stenosis, stiff ventricle
patient that has increased peripheral pulses on palpation could indicate
coartation, compensation aortic regurgitation, patent ductus arteriosis
your assessing a patient and you palpate alternating weak and strong pulses what is it
pulses alternans, possible cardiac tamponade or impaired left ventricle
When patient comes into ED they have decrease in pulse with inspiration you suspect
tension pneumothorax, foreign body in airway, cardiac tamponade, asthma, or copd
