- Implement requirements for the command’s radiation health program
- Ensure the command’s radiation exposure is held ALARA.
- Report correction of audit discrepancies and identification of root causes to inspecting activity.
- Review the monthly Radiation Health Program Assessment from the MDR.
- Ensure that personnel in the command receive the required radiation health training.

- Prime Responsibility for proper administration of the command’s Radiation Health
- Review and forward to the CO reports on corrective action taken and identification of root causes on discrepancies noted from each radiation health audit.
- Coordinate and participate in the External and Internal Radiation Health Audits.

- The SME in Rad Health
