Q

Big Water

A

Deck Gun:
Add 10-25 PSI FL to NP (80 PSI smooth bore, 100 PSI fog)

Large Ground Monitor:
Add 10-25 PSI FL to NP, plus additional 25 PSI per 100’ of 2-1/2” siamese hose
Mini-monitor add 40 PSI per 100’ of 2-1/2”

Ladder Pipe:
PDP = 150 PSI within 100’
Adjust based on aerial Flowmeter. At full ladder height expect to flow 180 PSI.
DO NOT EXCEED 200 PSI

Q

Foam Application

A

Nozzle GPM must match Eductor

75 or 100 PSI Akron TurboJet and foam tube is preferred setup
Max distance from eductor to nozzle:
250’ for 75 PSI Nozzle
150’ for 100 PSI Nozzle

Foam Concentrate required at 3%:
500 gallon tank - 15 gallons (3 pails)
600 gallon tank - 18 gallons (4 pails)

Spill: start at 100 PSI PDP and increase until adequate foam production

Fire: start w/200 PSI PDP at the eductor inlet to obtain 125 GPM
