A

Make 4 factual points- separate sentences

1 mark for each point

2 marks for a developed point

Have a starter sentence

How do you answer “To what extent….” 9 mark question

A

Introduction- no more than two sentences that address the question and give factors

Paragraph 1- deal with the factor given in question

Paragraph 2 etc- bring in other factors

Conclusion make a judgment to answer the question

How do you answer how fully questions?

A

Starter sentence with judgement
6 marks- 6 points

Pick out 2 or 3 points from the source that answer the question and say why it makes it full

Use 3 or 4 points from your own knowledge and say that the source is less full.

A

4 marks

Starter sentence
- Overall comparison say if sources agree or disagree about what is being asked

Then say:
One thing that sources agree/disagree on is…
Source …says (quote)
Source … disagrees/ agrees by saying (quote)
