Q

What is Concentration

A

how much of a substance is in a solution (grams or moles per dm³).

The total mass of the reactants (what you start with) = total mass of the products (what you end up with).

Atoms are rearranged, but none are created or destroyed.

Q

What if it looks like mass changes?

A

it’s usually because

A gas escaped into the air (mass seems to go down).

or

A gas from the air was taken in (mass seems to go up).
