A
  • infections (35%)- abscesses, emypema, bacteria, rhuematic fever
  • neoplasms (25%)- lymphoma
  • connective tissue disease (20%)- RA, SLE, polyarteririts
  • miscellanous - sarcoid

A
  • always think of malaria
  • septicaemia
  • UTI
  • pelvic inflammatory disease
  • Daily spikes- abscesses, TB schistomiasis
  • twice daily - leishmanias
  • saddleback fever (fever for 7 then normal)- colarado tick fever
