What does ADC stand for?
Automatic Density Control
What kind of operating systems are on the trucks?
FLECS and UNI PRO -old
Does the Zs4 have ADC
Yes but it sucks… FLECS manipulates both cement and water while Zs4 only manipulates cement.
What are the three systems on the truck
Electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic
What does the Pneumatic engine control?
Road Motor
Air Motors
Displacement Open and close
What does the hydraulic engine control?
6x5, 4x4, mixing paddles, dust collectors
Electric power?
Charged from the deck engine. Powers the lights and computer system.
How many deck engines does each truck have
1 - Red Tiger
2- Elites
What is the deck engine used for?
Running the HT
Maintaining the charge on the electric
How are the deck engines started?
Hydraulically from the road motors.
What is the pony engine used for?
On elites, it runs hydraulic, charges electric
What system operates the valves on the Tiger
Pneumatic
What system powers the centrifugal pumps
Hydraulic
What are the names of the centrifugal pumps?
4x4 or mixing pump

What size are the centrifugal pumps and what does that mean?
6 inch suction, 5 inch discharge

What size are the displacement tanks?
10 bbl each
During displacement, what are two ways total displacement is measured?
Drive shaft bbl counter and the main way is in the measuring tanks.
What ways can fluid be brought into the displacement tanks.
4x4 and mudline on the tiger.
On the elite, it can also be brought in through the 6x5.
From the displacement tank, where can fluids go?
Mixing tub or directly to the HT
What are the two ways to move fluid from the displacement tank to the HT
Gravity or Boost
When would each method be used?
Fill lines - gravity
When you are chasing fluid downhole, we would use the boost. The boost also helps clean the belly line. Boost when we are priming up.
What size is the mixing tub?
8 bbls total. 3 bbl downhole.
What is the divider in the tub used for?
Separates the pre mix from the downhole.
Also called the partition. It knocks some of the air out of cement.
From the downhole side, where can fluid go?
to the HT
When recirculating cement, what side of the mixing tub is fluid pulled from?
Premix
What pump is used for the recirculating of cement?
6x5.
What is the purpose of the witches hat?
Creates more mix energy.
What do the mixing paddles contribute to the process?
Agitation and added mix energy.
Describe a Cement head and how does it function?
Cement throttle knife regulates inflow. Can be auto or hand adjusted for different situations.
Vacuum breaker - breaks locked product
Sleeve- Separates dry product and fluid until it enters the witches hat.
What size fluid ends and what do we use here.
4.5 and 5 inch
How does changing the size of the fluid end effect
larger the fluid end, the more volume but less pressure.
what is the max pressure on the Tiger.

What is referred to when the pump is jacking off?
There is air in the HT and there is no longer full prime.
Fluid can go to the HT from?
Displacement tanks, mixing tub or an outside source through a suction.

Downhole or back to the displacement tank.
