to believe something even when there is evidence that says its not true

believing something because a lot of people believe it

believing something because of how it made you feel and not how logical it is

believing something because someone in authority believes it
antiquity fallacy
believing something because people believed it for a long time
black or white fallacy
taking an extreme belief in something when a more moderate belief is more accurate

correlational research
relationship between two variables
correlation coefficient
a statistic showing relationship between two variables. highly positive to highly negative.
negative correlation coefficient
one variable goes up the other variable goes down
