What is one of the contraindications to starting interferon-alpha in viral hepatitis?
Depression (interferon-alpha can worsen depression)
Tx of serotonin syndrome?
- Supportive, Benzos, cooling and paralysis
- Cyproheptadine (5-HT antagonist) if Benzos are not working
