Anorexia Nervosa
Eating disorder characterized by recurrent food refusal leading to dangerously low body weight

Avoidant/Restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)
Type of eating disorder in which people limit their food intake not because they are concerned about weight or body shape but because they are not interested in eating or food or because they avoid certain sensory characteristics or consequences of food or eating
Binge Eating Disorder
Pattern of eating involving distress-inducing binges not followed by purging behaviors
Binges
Relatively brief episode of uncontrolled, excessive consumption, usually of food or alcohol
Bulimia Nervosa
Eating disorder involving recurrent episodes of uncontrolled excessive (binge) eating followed by compensatory actions to remove the food (vomiting, laxative)
happens a lot to Young women in rich countries
Purging Disorder
An eating disorder where people influence their weight by self-induced vomiting, using laxatives, diuretics (medicine make pee more), or other medications but do not show binge-eating disorder or other eating disorders
Purging Techniques
In the eating disorder bulimia nervosa, the self-induced vomiting or laxative misuse used to compensate for excessive food ingestion
food neophobia
the reluctance to eat, or the avoidance of, new foods
Orthorexia Nervosa
an obsession with healthy eating
