Behavioural Inhibition System
The part of your brain that makes you cautious or worried about new or potentially dangerous situations
Fight/Flight System
Your bodys way of reacting to danger by either getting ready to fight or running away
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Feeling very worried and stressed about many different things most of the time
Panic Disorder
Having sudden and intense feelings feelings of fear or panic that seem to come out of nowhere

Specific Phobia
Being really afraid of one specific thing
Blood-Injury-Injection phobia
Feeling very scared or faint at the sight of blood, injections, or injuries

Being afraid of specific situations, like flying in airplanes or being in enclosed spaces
Natural Environment Phobias
Being afraid of things like storms, heights, or water

Feeling very anxious or upset when you have to be away from someone you’re close to
Social Anxiety Disorder
Feeling very anxious and uncomfortable in social situations or around other people

Suddenly waking up in the middle of the night feeling intense fear or panic
Factitious Disorders
Non existent physical or psychological disorders deliberately faked for no apparent gain except possibility of sympathy and attention
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Anxiety disorder involving unwanted, persistent, intrusive thoughts and impulses as well as repetitive actions intended to suppress them
Obsessions
Recurrent intrusive thoughts or impulses the client seeks to suppress or neutralize while recognizing they are not imposed by outside forces
