Activation (either sporadic or autosomal dominant inheritance) of CARD14 which activates NF-kappaB signaling

A
Based on age (I-II in adults and III-V in children). Type IV MCC in pediatrics

Treatment
A
Mild: emolients, topical steroids, keratolytic agents, and tazarotene
Mod-Severe: systemic retinoids are first line
Self-limiting disorder
