Jonah is commanded to call Nineveh to repent of their sins.

Jonah tried to run away from God, God through the “fish” changes his mind and heart.

the real message is not about Jonah running from God, but through God’s mercy, His purpose is to save people from all nations as the entire city of Nineveh eventually repents.

Amos is “just a shepherd” who God calls to be a prophet.
