Q

What is a type of board that has a larger variety of uses than cartonboard? How is it made? In what contexts is it used?

A

Duplex is a larger and more rigid, multi-layered display board which has a variety of uses. It is made using a foam base board to which various finishes are applied. Good examples are the boards used for advertising in shops or cinemas which can be coated with a smart foil material with an image that reacts to light and changes ‘hologrammatic’.
