What is Prompting and Prompt Fading?
A
- Prompt after SD but before response
- Use most-to-least prompting for skill acquisition; minimizes errors but has high risk of prompt dependency
- Use least-to-most prompting for mastered skills; has a higher risk of errors occurring but minimizes the risk of prompt dependency

What is Prompt Hierarchy?
A
- Partial/full Verbal prompting (least intrusive)
- Gesture/visual/proximal/positional prompting
- Model prompting
- Partial/full Physical prompting (most intrusive)

What is Time Delay Prompting?
A
Pause between SD and prompt; promotes independence

What are Stimulus Prompts?
A
Help initially by giving the client the SD and making it more salient; (such as a visual prompt while a client learns to trace and the independently write letters)

What are Response Prompts?
A
Help after SD is given, shaping the response (such going from a full physical prompt to wave, to a partial physical prompt to wave)
