A
Identifying the activities necessary to complete a task, the time necessary to finish each activity and the relationships between the activities

Who owns float?
A
- Controversial question – typically contractor, answer of ‘whoever gets there first’ dubious
- JCT: contractor owns float as only start and finish dates in contract
- NEC: float owned by project, more collaborative approach

What is lead and lag?
A
Lag – delay between start dates of two tasks
Lead – overlap of the two tasks until first one finishes
