Usage
Clipping follows the ‘flow of the coat’ (excluding the line going down the spine). Apply little pressure & follow the direction of growth. Lightly brush or comb the coat & re-clip.
Coat type
1, double coat 2 Lhasa apso
2, silky coat English cocker spaniel
3, wire coat west highland white
4, curly/wavy coat poodle
Cleaning/maintenance
To keep the clippers clean and maintained, brush out loose hair, Also have them regularly serviced.
Advantages
1, trim coat in a shorter period of time than if using scissors alone
2, A large selection of blades and comb attachments can be used to give the coat the length you desire.
3, fast to transport and handle
4, with the right Care, clippers can last for many years.
Disadvantages
1, can leave clipper lines if not used correctly.
2, some dogs develop anxiety due to the loud noise
3, clippers require consistent maintenance (e.g. Oiling)
4, Constant attention is required as the clippers can stop working after just one fall.
