Why do we produce cells in labs?
A
The make skin cells (to make skin grafts), to grow new parts of the body (heart), to clone plants and animals, test cosmetics, to test drugs, to grow yeast, to grow embryos (test tube babies).

How are they produced?
A
In an industrial fermenter which is attached to a computer that can adjust the conditions inside it to insure they are in the right environment to grow properly.
