What is genetic engineering?
A
It involves removing chromosomes from one organism and putting it into another organism. This organism is now changes and is called genetically modified organism.

What can it be used for?
A
It can be used to make insulin (used to treat people with diabetes), antibiotics (used to treat people with bacterial infections), human growth hormones (used to treat children that cant make enough grow hormones and aren’t growing properly), factor VIII (used to treat people with haemophilia)
