What else does digital converging technologies allow audiences to do?

A

They also allow the audience opportunities to create user generated content in the form of their own short films, parodies and artwork/designs, therefore becoming prosumers.

Audiences are also given the ability to form forums and groups to discuss and debate the events of the film as they participate in active consumerism.

Reaction videos of people watching trailers become popular amongst this sort of film, made famous by more recognizable fanatics, such as director and comic fanboy Kevin Smith breaking down sequences within the latest Marvel trailers.
