What is the difference between Procurement & Tendering?
Procurement is the overall act of obtaining goods and services from an external source and includes deciding on the strategy by reviewing the clients requirements and attitudes to time, cost, quality and risk
Tendering is a phase in the procurement that includes obtaining a price for the works and appointing the contractor

What is Tendering?
Tendering is an important phase in the
procurement strategy but procurement involves
much more than obtaining a price.
Tendering is:
• the bidding process, to obtain a price; and
• how a contractor is actually appointed

What is a Form of Tender?
The form of tender is prepared by the client or their consultants and completed and signed by the tenderer. It is a formal acknowledgement that the tenderer understands and accepts the terms of conditions of the tender documents and any other requirements that are stipulated.
What is a certificate of a bona fide tender
Declaration of non-collusion
The declaration may require that the tenderer confirms that: Their tender is bona fide. They have not colluded with any other party to fix or adjust the tender price.
