The privy council met on a day to day basic with the agendas and minuets, what was it responsible for?
Everything: finance, diplomacy, economy and war
Parliament remained occasion and was used at the discretion of the king, why did it become more important during the reign of Henry VIII
They passed laws which made him supreme head of the church and allowed him to take control of the monasteries- this is called the reformation parliament which met annually
What did Henry do to force him to recognise him as supreme head of the church?
A law was passed which made treasonable to not regard Henry as supreme head verbally- Thomas more was executed for this

This united Wales and England and created the council of Wales
