What does FITT stand for?
Frequency, intensity, time, type

Making sure the training is relevant to the chosen sport.
Progressive overload meaning
Performer gradually trains harder as their body adapts. Can be done by increasing reps or weight or decreasing the rest time.

Intensity meaning
How hard the performer is training
Time meaning

Type meaning
Using different forms or relevant training
