-Age
-Marfans
-HSP vasculitis
-Vit C deficiency (scurvy)

A

can be split into decrease in number and decrease in function

Decrease in platelet number:
-Reduced production due to bone marrow problems
-DIC, autoimmune causes

Decrease function:
-NSAIDs, aspirin, renal failure, liver failure
