What’s the message?

A

He trained 20 yrs for those 2 mins. He wasn’t born running fast. He trained and trained and trained.

Practise must be at the centre of my life.

Successful people don’t practise more, don’t practise harder, don’t have more discipline, aren’t born bigger or stronger, aren’t more talented in any way.

What do they have that’s different?

A

A completely different relationship to practise. The best in the world love practise. We show up for it enthusiastically. Practise IS the big game.

A

A

They know they’re never leaving, and so they live from that truth. No Plan B. Closing all doors, shutting down every exit holds me a huge amount of power.

What’s the dif b/w a fan and a player?

A

A fan would run up to an Ronaldo and get a pic, selfie, autograph.

A player is a peer of Ronaldo. He shakes his hand, treats with respect and trains alongside him. Ronaldo then wants a picture with him.

A

Change how I view my struggle. Instead of protecting myself from it, let it be rocket fuel. Let it be what drives me. Share the story in service of others
