O - Operational relevance
A -Ask if any questions
C - Check for understanding
H - Help counseling etc
How many weeks pregnant can pax travel
Over four hours flight time - end of 36th week
Under four hours flight time - end of 40th week
Multiple
Over four hours flight time - end of 32nd week
Under four hours flight time - end of 36th week
Asthma signs and treatment
Signs
Dry cough
Wheezing
Tightness in the chest
Difficulty breathing
Anxiety and distress
Difficulty speaking
Possible loss of consciousness and/or respiratory arrest
Treatment
Ask if they have Asthma and if so if they have medication
If not - get O2

- contact Flight Care
Sit upright lean forward elbows on tray table
Loosen clothing and reassure
Offer medication from Kit
Record pulse and breathing rate
Salbutamol via nebuliser no more than 3 doses over an hour 20min apart
Where would you find the salbutamol nebules and inhaler in the Physicians kit
