Helps to prevent condensation of chromosomes to enrich the culture with longer chromosomes.
Used in combination with Colcemid.

A
Amino acid.
Essential energy source for cells.

What is trypsin EDTA?
A
It is used to disassociate cells with the surface they are adhered to.
It cuts away cell adhesions that anchor the cell to the dish.
EDTA makes cells separate from each other and from the dish.
