A
long, release acetylcholine, binds to N2 receptors on short post-g fibre. At target cell, acetylcholine released again, binds to muscarinic receptors.
short, release acetylcholine, binds to N2 receptors on long post-g fibres. Releases norepinephrine/noradrenaline, activates alpha or beta adrenergic receptors.
sympathetic pre-g fibre in adrenal gland (produces steroids and adrenaline), releases acetylcholine, binds to N2 receptors, adrenaline/epinephrine released.
