long cylindrical cells, striped (“striated”). Many nuclei, use somatic NS (voluntary).
blood vessels, airways, walls of organs, gastrointestinal movement. Shorter, not striated cells with one nucleus. Use autonomic NS.
branched, striated fibres, 1-2 nuclei. Have gap junctions in “intercalated discs”. Use the autonomic NS.
