When will a PRC be carried out?

Answer 1

All incidents & training events of 6 pumps & above.
Other incidents at the discretion of the DAC.
Any incident which a SAI has attended regardless of size of incident.
Within 28 days.

When can a PRC be deferred/cancelled?

Answer 2

By the AC of Ops, if it could impact on the outcomes of a accident investigation/disciplinary or public enquiry/police investigation.

Who attends a PRC?

Answer 3

Chair
All incident commanders.
Monitoring officer.
SAI.
ORT.
Ops commander/USAR TA/HMEPO/Command unit team leader/representative from FIRE control.

Question 4

Minimum amount of time for a PRC slot when booking?

Answer 4

Minimum 3hrs.

Question 5

Who is responsible for arranging the PRC?

Answer 5

1st Station manager in attendance.

Training event - officer organising the training.

Chairing the PRC should be what rank for -
Up to 8 pumps?
Above 8 pumps & SAI?

Answer 6

8 pumps - GM

Above 8 & SAI - DAC.
